About

Hannah is a storyteller who looks for the stories in everything. She grew up loving illustration and reading every book she could get her hands on. This later led Hannah to join her high school yearbook staff in her freshman year and fall in love with feature writing, photography, and design. Hannah grew to love student publications so much that she continued it for another four years in college by majoring in communications. Hannah started at Texas Wesleyan in the fall of 2016 with an application in hand to their student media and graduated with honors in the fall of 2020.

As a content producer at The Rambler Media Group, she wrote news, features, and opinions for their print and online papers. Hannah also continued to hone her skills in photography, graphic design, and page layout. She quickly rose to editor-in-chief of the organization by the end of her third semester as a second-semester sophomore while continuing to produce content.

While working for The Rambler, Hannah’s work has placed in the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association (TIPA) for both print and online news, and print has placed in the top 10 nationally at the Associated Collegiate Press and Collegiate Media Association conference in Dallas, Texas in the fall of 2017. Individually, Hannah has been named Texas Headliners Foundation Scholar three times for the years 2017-2018, 2018-2019, and 2019-2020 by the Headliners Foundation of Texas. She was also awarded Reporter of the Year by The Rambler Media Group in 2016-2017 for publishing over 30 stories in her freshmen year and Editor of the Year in 2018-2019.

After serving as editor-in-chief for three semesters, Hannah spent a semester working for Rambler TV to add more video experience to her portfolio and try out something new. She completed a summer externship with AT&T and a fall internship with her university’s athletic department. Ultimately, Hannah finished her senior year returning to her writing and designing roots while mentoring and leading projects.

Right now, she works part-time as a photographer/ retoucher assistant for Memorable Moments Photography, but Hannah is open to freelance work as well.
